Gleaners Food Bank of Livingston County serves 4,000 people in the community each month.
Many of Brighton’s Ross Medical Education Center students have relied on Gleaners during their own personal times of struggle. To support this incredible organization, Ross, located at 8110 Murphy Drive, organized a food drive for the month of November. To kick off the drive, Gleaners volunteer, Dave Seibert, visited the school as a guest speaker and shared information about the organization with the students.
As a result, by the end of November, Ross collected over 400 pounds of food for Gleaners. The drive was a huge success and we were proud to support this important resource in our community.
