The Davison campus and members from the local chamber of commerce celebrated American Heart Month by launching more than 80 red balloons. Each balloon contained a hand-written fact about heart disease and the name of a loved one for whom the balloon was launched.
Micki Jeffery, who teaches MA at both Davison and Flint came up with the idea. Jeffery said, “If the information on our balloons helps someone, it’s worth it.”
