The Ross Medical Education Center campus in Kentwood has enjoyed a partnership with ChiroHealth Rockford in Rockford, MI as an externship site and graduate employer for their Medical Assistant students. In addition to offering chiropractic care, the office has many other wellness and nutrition programs. They offer a comprehensive look at healthcare, making them a very exciting place to work and complete the extern experience. Every student that has been a part of the office has absolutely loved it. Ross students and graduates are always impressed with the modern facility, family-oriented staff, overall friendly atmosphere, and how active the office is in their community.

What do you like about Ross graduates?
They are always determined and eager to work.
What is something you like about working with Ross?
I love working with them because of the friendly staff and the students that come in with a great education. It’s nice because they already have knowledge of the job that they will be doing here, but they are also wanting to learn more.
How is the Career Services staff at Ross?
They are so helpful and knowledgeable about trends in society. They have always been very flexible. Everyone on the staff is great. I appreciate that I don’t have to think of following up; they take initiative. In fact, once when I came back from a leave of absence, they called to get ahold of us to see how they could help.
How would you describe your experience with having externs from Ross?
It’s definitely very fun and rewarding. They bring new life into our office. Although not all of them are interested in chiropractic specifically, they are all very interested in the healthcare field.
What’s the main advantage of hiring a Ross graduate?
It’s so easy because you have already spent time training them and getting to know them. They have already become part of the team.
How would your facility be affected if it weren’t for Ross graduates?
If it weren’t for Ross graduates, we would not be able to accomplish our larger, yearly projects, and we wouldn’t be able to help educate those within our community about living a healthier lifestyle through Chiropractic!
