Port Huron and New Baltimore walked for two wonderful causes during the month of May.
For the second year in a row, the Port Huron campus participated in the March of Dimes March for Babies. This year’s five-mile walk was held on May 6. The weather was perfect for walking and more than 30 students, staff and family members walked for the cause. The campus goal was to raise $1,000.00. We exceeded our goal and raised $1,182.00. Thanks to everyone for making this event a huge success!
New Baltimore did its share of walking on May 12-13 during Relay for Life to benefit the American Cancer Society. Students and staff brought in their donations and we even had local residents bring in their returnable bottles and cans to donate to Realy for Life. We ended up raising $600 for this fun event!
