In just four short days, Ross Institute of Medical & Dental Technology(IMDT), located at 11590 Century Boulevard, Suite 210, filled 13 barrels with nearly 3,000 canned food items to benefit the clients of Cincinnati’s Freestore Foodbank this Thanksgiving.
According to Freestore, the total donation weighed almost 2,000 pounds! The students enjoyed friendly competition amongst the Dental Assisting, Medical Assisting and Medical Billing and Office Administration classes to see which one could bring in the most food. The morning Dental Assisting class won, with 1,670 cans.
“If we can bring in 3,000 cans in a few days, imagine what we could do in one whole week,” said Ben Gregory, Campus Director, Ross. “We’re really proud of everyone for working so hard in such a short amount of time.”
